Clifton and Martha Stockbridge moved to the Boerne/Bulverde area in May 2003 after spending many years in West Texas.  They became members of Hill Country Church at Fair Oaks Ranch in February 2005.   Both Clifton and Martha are servants of the Lord and share their love for God and Hill Country Church.

Martha’s passion for the children of the world can be seen in her dedication to the lives of the children of Hill Country Church.  She believes that teaching is not just about passing information from one to another, but about sharing the deep love of Christ, surrendering to the wide breadth of His sacrifice, and equipping others for a life-long relationship with a Risen Savior.

Martha is dedicated to preparing our children for the world, but teaching them not to become worldly. She understands the importance of equipping them to ignore the whispers of the evil one by teaching them to guard their hearts, thoughts and actions.

When asked why she teaches, Martha responds, “How deep is the responsibility of each of us as we are called to action.  As we are called to mentor truth, life and love to those so very eager to become living sacrifices.  How pure is the faith of children.  The wide eye look when they get it, when they understand, when they see through the eyes of Jesus.”
